WILLIAM PETER CORBIERE,”TACO BILL”

William Peter Corbiere,”Taco Bill” passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the age of 52 years. He was a native of M’Chigeeng. Son of the late Alphonse Corbiere and of the late Catherine Corbiere. Dear brother of Ida (Donald) Copenace of Kenora, Laura Jean (Joe) Anwhatin and Hanson (Denise) Corbiere both of M’Chigeeng. He is survived by 16 nieces and nephews and 31 great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Wilma and by his nephews Jonas and Danny. Billy was a simple and humble man who was cherished by all. He loved his warn beer, speaking Ojibwe and listening to country music. He also enjoyed visiting with his family often just to complain or to vent. The family received friends at his residence at 364 Crosshill Road, M’Chigeeng, on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 11 am. A funeral service was held at the Immaculate Conception Church in M’Chigeeng on Monday, January 4, 2016 at 11 am. Burial to follow in the M’Chigeeng First Nation Cemetery.
