WILBERT DALE OVERFIELD

Wilbert Dale Overfield, a resident of Tehkummah, died peacefully at home on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at the age of 78. Born to Ina Rebecca Elisabeth (Gibson) and John James Overfield, in Assiginack on September 23, 1937. Predeceased by his beloved wife Darlene (1992). Loving father of Lynn (Shayne Tout), Dale, Darrell, Kevin and Lori-Ann. Proud grandfather of Natasha, Douglas, Raymond and great-grandfather of Marcus. Dear brother of John Overfield (Marion predeceased), and Brenda Hemming (Grant). Brother-in-law of Rita Glanville (Chester predeceased), Edith Boychuck (Allan predeceased), Marjorie Aasen, Herb Blue (predeceased) (Betty), Helen Blue, Sylva Blue. Will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends gathered at Island Funeral Home. Visitation was from 7 pm to 9 pm on Monday, December 28, 2015. Funeral Service was at 1 pm on Tuesday, December 29, 2015. Burial will be at Hilly Grove Cemetery in the spring. Donations to a cancer charity would be greatly appreciated.
