NORMA ISOBEL HEMBRUFF

Norma Isobel Hembruff, a resident of Manitowaning, died peacefully at Manitoulin Health Centre, on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at the age of 82. Born to Elsie Moggy (Chatwell) and Walter Moggy, at Bidwell, Assiginack Township on July 8, 1933. Beloved wife of Donald Hembruff (predeceased 2008). Loving mother of Brenda Maguire (Doug) and Karla Hembruff (Gerald). Proud grandmother of Geoffrey and Joel Lovelace. Will be missed by brother Hugh Moggy (Marilyn), sister Rae Skippen (John), brother Bill Moggy and sister-in-laws Marilyn Moggy and Marilyn Harasym. Predeceased by brother Glenn Moggy, and brother-in-laws Bill Hembruff and Morris Harasym. Will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends will gather at Knox United Church, Manitowaning on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 for a 10 am visitation with funeral at 11 am. Rev. Martin Garniss officiating. Burial will be at Hilly Grove Cemetery in the spring. Donations to Knox United Church or Manitoulin Hospital Auxiliary would be greatly appreciated.
