They are neither useless nor stupid
To the Expositor:
Older people are neither useless nor stupid—please don’t make them feel that way.
They have a lot of knowledge they would love to share, so try listening instead of talking.
Don’t treat them like five-year-olds, they don’t like to be patronized.
Allow them to be themselves and do what they feel they can do.
