William “Bud” Ross McConnell, a resident of Little Current, died peacefully at Manitoulin Health Centre, on Monday, October 5, 2015 at the age of 87. Predeceased by his beloved wife Dorothy (2010). He is survived by his sons Barry (Laura) McConnell and Rory (Cheryl) McConnell and daughter-in-law Kathy McConnell. He will be fondly remembered by seven grandchildren, Colleen (Roger) Warren, Melissa (Terry) Peters, Kimberly McConnell, Laura (Steven) Schuler, Michael Gobeil, Nicole Hessels, Victoria Gobeil, and eight great-grandchildren, Dawson McConnell, Kaden and Ryland Warren, Rory, Leia and Darla Schuler, Hailey and Noah Hessels. Bud was predeceased by daughter Gail (1948), sons Kevin (1973) and William “Bill” (2005). Predeceased by siblings Ida, Doris and Bartley. Bud was a man who will be remembered for his very friendly and cheerful manner. He loved to talk and meet new people. His passions were boating and fishing, he loved to travel, his hobbies were carving and painting. He will be deeply missed by family as he has touched all of us in someway.
