On October 2, 2015, Anne passed away peacefully after a long struggle with cancer at Innisfree House Hospice, Kitchener. Beloved and devoted wife of Robert “Bob” Hughson for 55 years. Anne was loved deeply and will be held in the hearts of her children Mark (Valerie), Brian (Ginette), Kim (Ken); grandchildren Leslie, Kellie, Skylar, Braelyn and Josée (Luc) and great-grandchildren Mélodie and Julien and beloved cat, Abby. Predeceased by her mother and father, Gladys and Norman Smith of Little Current and brother, Donald Smith. At Anne’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Trinity United Church, Lively, Ontario at 11 am. Internment to follow.
