Oscar passed away at the Manitoulin Health Centre on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the age of 82 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s. Proud son of the late David and Louise (nee Meawasige) McGregor. Loving father to Mary Jane (predeceased), Darlene (Mike), Cindy (Wes), Lynn (Bill), Calvin (Tracy) and Crystal. Cherished grandfather to Ryan, Glenda (predeceased), Glen, Mike Jr., Marcus, Marilyn, Mason, Matthew, Wes Jr., Trent, Bryton, Christopher, Alexis, Dakota, Raeanna, Hailey, Quinton, Aurora, Leonidas and Montana. Great-grandpa to Jameyson, Colton, Cameron “Cammie”, Brodi, and Daxton. Predeceased by siblings Theodore, Teresa, Evelyn, Blanche, Helena, Gordon, Rose and Godfrey. Survived by his sisters Geraldine Ziegler (Carl) and Mary Jane “Jean” Andrews (Lawrence). Godfather to Diane Musgrove. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends gathered at St. Gabriel Lalement Church, Birch Island from 11 am on Tuesday, September 1, 2015. Funeral Mass was held at 11 am on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. Cremation.
