MSS was buzzing with the excitement of graduation on Thursday, June 11. The graduates stayed after school to set up the gymnasium on Tuesday, had a rehearsal on Wednesday, and then on Thursday they reached the end of their high school careers. After four years of high school, these students are stepping out of high school and into adulthood. The Valedictorian for the graduating class of 2015 was Sarah Orford. A huge congratulations to all of the graduates, and the school will miss you next year.
At lunch students have been hanging outside, throwing around frisbees, and playing basketball on the outdoor courts. Students are eating in the courtyard, enjoying their lunches while sitting in the sun.
Guidance counsellors are busy organizing timetables for next year. For students who are taking e-learning courses next year, there is now a list of courses that are available. Students can now register for Summer School in Sudbury. To register for a course, it must have been completed with a minimum mark of 35 percent.
The whole school is excited for summer, but that hasn’t affected learning. Students are still in their regular classes and doing their homework. Stay golden Mustangs. ‘Til next time.
