Burt Bosje, a resident of Tehkummah, Manitoulin, died peacefully at Manitoulin Health Centre, on Monday, May 4, 2015 at the age of 70. Born to Tina (nee Norbruise) and Dirk Bosje, in Holland on August 5, 1944. Beloved husband of Elaine (nee Dupuis). Loved father of Dan and wife Trisha, Jackie and husband Brad Mason. Proud Grandpa of Shawn, Michelle, Cody, Jesse, Brett, Tyler, Jeffry, Haylee, predeceased by granddaughter Linsay. Brother of Henry (Judy) of Burlington, Tina (Tom Carroll) of Kitchener, John (Wendy) of St. Catharines, Nancy (Rudy) of Simcoe, Dorothy (Tony Cook) of St. Catharines, Anna (Bob Gardiner) of Simcoe, Mary (Greg Sutton) of Brantford. Will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Burt loved golf, fishing, baseball, woodworking, drinking coffee, smoking fish (cooked to perfection at 36 beer) and have a cold Coors Light with the guys on a hot summer day. He will be missed for all his practical jokes. Family and friends will gather at the Tehkummah Hall on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 1 pm.
