Laurie-Anne died suddenly on March 15, 2012 at the age of 39 years. Loving daughter of Loretta Recollet, Stanley Osawamick and step-father Clifford Bebamikawe (Papa). Loving mother and best friend of Quinton (Daynelle), Ashley “Ephie” (Marshall), Mark Jr., Joel and Dante; loving partner of Calvin “Kelly” Shawanda; loving grandmother of Mila and Kolston; best friend and loving sister of Jennifer (Ed) and Nancy Mae (Darrell). She will be missed by her paternal brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, Godparents Jeanne and Randy Naponse, Godchild Conan and special uncles Joey and Ricky. Predeceased by grandparents Philip and Nancy Recollet. Laurie–Anne had a variety of interests including spending quality time with her grandbabies Miss Mila and Kolston Baby, cheering on her boys while they played hockey, going for rides in the bush, playing croquet, gardening and advancing her nursing career. She found the love that she so deserved with Kelly and life was great. Family and friends were always #1 with her. Laurie-Anne loved life and had a laugh that was one of a kind, and her laugh and good nature would fill a room whenever she entered. She also enjoyed the large family dinners and get-togethers. She will be remembered as a strong minded, beautiful and determined woman who was loud and proud and lived life to the fullest. Friends and relatives called at the Rabbit Island Community Centre after 4 pm on Saturday, March 17, 2012.
