Post mortem conducted on body found at Junction Creek

SUDBURY – The Greater Sudbury Police Service is continuing to assist the Coroner in the investigation of the body found in Junction Creek on Saturday May 2nd.

On Monday the 4th of May, a post mortem examination was conducted here in Sudbury.

This post mortem did not reveal a cause of death. Investigators will be awaiting the results of the toxicology report to assist them in trying to understand the cause of death.

The deceased is described as follows:

  • Male
  • 30 – 50 years of age
  • 5’5” tall
  • 160 pounds
  • Shoulder length thick black hair
  • Some upper teeth missing

Police will be completing their search in the area of Junction Creek this afternoon.

This investigation is still being conducted under the jurisdiction of the Coroner.
