North Bay man charged with child pornography offences

NORTH BAY – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, the North Bay Police Service and the Greater Sudbury Police Service have arrested and charged a North Bay man following an on-line undercover child pornography investigation.

On April 28 2015 police executed a search warrant at a North Bay residence and seized one computer containing images of child sexual abuse.

On April 28, 2015 police arrested Christopher Anaya, 30 years-old of North Bay, Ontario.  He is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography and one count each of Make Available Child Pornography and Accessing Child Pornography. The accused was remanded into custody and will return to the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay Ontario on May 5, 2015.

The investigation is on-going.
