A resident of Chatham, David James, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 72. Born in Mindemoya, Ontario and son of the late Stanley Wallace and Ruth Oris James. Loving husband of 51 years to Shirley, father to Vincent James (Donna), Kenneth James, David James, Tammy James (Ron), Stacy Bowls (Donnie), Kevin James (Lauren). Papa will be forever missed by his grandchildren Cruz James, Eric James, Alicia James, Chris James, Brennon James, Jessica James, Troy Murphy, Cameron James, Johnathon Murphy. Brother to Carol Harris (Wymman), Rick James (Anne), Janet James (Larry), Cathy James (Clyde), Debbie James, Terry James (Shelley). Missed by many nieces and nephews. A private family gathering was held. Cremation followed with interment of cremated remains to take place in Manitoulin Island at a later date.
