DAVID KENNETH ROY “COLEMAN”

David Kenneth “Coleman” Roy peacefully entered the western doorway at the Wikwemikong Nursing Home surrounded by his family and loved ones. Beloved son of the late Alice Wassegijig (Roy) and Valentine Wassegijig (predeceased). Dear brother to Betty Bell and brother-in-law Harvey Bell Sr. (predeceased). Beloved grandson to Annie and David Roy Atchitawens (both predeceased). Dear nephew to Doris (Harold) Clausen, Angeline (Thomas) Fox (both predeceased), Alphonse Roy (predeceased). Godfather to Wayne Jr. Fox (Deborah) and David Clausen (Brenda). Dear uncle to Calvin (predeceased), Cynthia, Harvey Jr., and Nathan. Chi Uncle to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Kenny enjoyed spending time with family, he used to call and check in on everyone. He enjoyed his visits and home visits with family. As a long-time resident, his family grew with the Wikwemikong Nursing Home. Kenny enjoyed the activities and outings that were provided to him. As a young man he enjoyed playing baseball and swimming when fishing with his Grandpa. Kenny took pride in his first vehicle, which was his black Wrangler. He travelled to the States to visit his auntie, and once returned on a plane. Kenny will be missed but never forgotten. G’Zaagigo Kenny. Rested at St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah. Visitation was from 7 pm, Monday, January 19, 2015. Funeral Mass was at 11 am, Thursday, January 22, 2015. Burial in Wikwemikongsing (Kaboni) Cemetery.
