In loving memory of James Joseph Peltier “Chi Jim”, 69 years, who passed away peacefully at Manitoulin Health Centre on April 29, 2011. Dear son of the late Andrew and Christine (Douglas) Peltier. Dear brother of Nancy, John, Doris, and Hilary (all predeceased). Dear husband of Shirley of Wikwemikong. Loving father of Russell (Jennifer), Nancy (Edward), Deborah (Wayne), Teresa, Mark (Lisa), and Christine. Survived by 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Special Daddy-O to Ronald (Hoss) Pheasant, Orland Jones, Rosetta Toulouse, and Glenda Ominika. Dear Godfather to Iris, Duke, Roger, Weedah, and Mary-Jo. Will be sadly missed by karaoke buddies Sandra Peltier and Jerome (Money Man) Fox. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Chi Jim loved quadding, country classics, karaoke, 31, watching hockey, his grandkids, his truck, gambling, auction sales and especially his family get-togethers. Rested at the Rabbit Island Community Centre. Funeral Mass was in Holy Cross Mission, Wikwemikong on Monday, May 2, 2011 at 11 am. Interment in the Wikwemikong Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Island Funeral Home.
