Spring Bay Rural Route

December 15th—Campbell Horticultural Society held their Christmas luncheon and program last Tuesday in the Pentecostal Church fellowship room in Spring Bay. After a delicious noon meal Pastor Dan Thompson led in the singing of Christmas carols following by a contest by Carol Lang. Around 35 people attended. The next meeting will be held at the Spring Bay hall on January 13.

The weather has been a bit nicer (milder) this week.

Lillian Greenman visited me last Friday and brought me some treats.

Belated birthday wishes to my friend Mieke Delange who celebrated on December 6.

The Pentecostal Church had their Christmas dinner and program on Sunday. It was enjoyable to see the children playing and singing. They served a lovely turkey meal. It was very much enjoyed. Thanks for inviting me!

We extend sympathy to the Jackson family in the passing of Ted. He has been ill for some time and he will be missed.

Happy birthday wishes to Bill Haner who is celebrating on the 19th. Hope he has a good day.

Ken and Sheila Mack are home again after spending a week with some of their family down county.

I visited several people in the nursing home in Gore Bay on Sunday afternoon. Thanks to Lyle Dewar for taking me.
