Providence Bay News and Notes

Hello everyone. Are you ready for the Christmas season?

We hope the Christmas concert was enjoyed by all. It was quite a lot of work to get everything done on time. Thanks to everyone who helped.

Muriel Blue, a former resident of Providence Bay, will be celebrating her 95th birthday on New Year’s Eve. She is in the Manitoulin Lodge Nursing Home. Congratulations and we hope your day will be very special. Happy Birthday from Providence Bay residents.

Our sympathy goes out to Suzanne White and her family in the loss of her father Ted Jackson.

John Phillips Roy we hope you will be feeling better soon.

The Providence Bay Arena is open now for free skating Saturdays from 7 to 9 pm and Sundays from 1 to 3 pm.

Please remember our seniors and veterans this time of year. Remember the sacrifices they made for each and every one of us. If you can assist them in any way please do.
