Search warrant results in drug bust

PARRY SOUND – On December 3, 2014 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), North Bay Drug Unit supported by OPP West Parry Sound Detachment, executed a search warrant at a residence in Parry Sound.

As a result of this investigation 103 grams of methamphetamine, 9 grams of cocaine, 719 grams of marihuana and $3,900 cash was seized. Three adults were arrested and charged.

Colton NEELY, age 21, of Parry Sound

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking – 3 Counts
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – 1 Count

He was held in custody pending a bail hearing on December 8, 2014.

Joseph WALSH, age 20, of McKellar

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance – 2 Counts
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order – 1 Count
  • Fail to Comply with Recognizance – 1 Count

He was held in custody pending a bail hearing on December 8, 2014.

Luke BYE, age 34, of Parry Sound

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking – 1 Count
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance – 1 Count

He was released from custody on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on January 8, 2015.
