URSULA VICTORIA MCLEAN (PHEASANT)

McLean-DeathUrsula Victoria McLean (Pheasant) has come home to rest on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at the Sault Area Hospital. Beloved daughter of the late Ambrose and Rose Pheasant of M’Chigeeng First Nation, Manitoulin. Dear sister of Ruth Migwans and Duncan Pheasant. Mother of five children, Diane (Harvey), Tim, late Roger, Kevin (Claudine) and Cindy (Tim). Beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews. Grandmother of 11, great-grandmother of 11 and great-great grandmother of three, which she was very proud of. She had great friends over her lifetime and they were so important to her. She will be remembered not only for her fun sense of humour, making people laugh, but also her festive holiday spirit and decorations. A Memorial Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11 am by her godson Father Daryold Corbiere Winkler at Immaculate Conception Church, M’Chigeeng First Nation (Manitoulin Island) with a burial and reception to follow. A celebration of Ursula’s Life was held at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (492 Wellington Street East, Sault Ste. Marie, ON (705-759-2522) on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 3 pm to 5 pm. Memorial contributions to the Immaculate Conception Church, M’Chigeeng First Nation would be appreciated.
