We would like to welcome Tammy and Mark Running, formerly of Sault Ste. Marie, to Providence Bay. Mark is working as a PSW in Gore Bay and also teaches CPR.
Matthew Garniss will be opening a Christmas Gift Store at his Fish and Chip Store in Providence Bay every Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm starting November 22 until Christmas. Free snacks and drinks available. All are welcome.
Allan Duxbury, formerly of Manitoulin Island, was repairing a roof and he fell off. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Our prayers and thoughts go out to the family.
We would like to say a big thank you to all our veterans for the sacrifices they have made.
God gives us dreams a size too big so that we can grow into them.
