Hughson-DeathClive Frederick Hughson, a resident of Manitowaning, died peacefully at Manitoulin Health Centre on Friday, October 31, 2014 at the age of 78. Born to Beulah Connor and Lawrence Hughson, in Assiginack Township, on February 26, 1936. Predeceased by his beloved wife Beverly Ann (nee Chatwell) on April 28, 2013. Proud father to Scot (wife Marcie) and Tom (Ashley). Special Grandpa of Kayla, Amanda, Curtis, Isabella, Mitchell, great-grandpa of Jackson, and step-grandpa of Hunter and Grace. Loving brother of Nola Noble (husband Floyd) (both predeceased), Eric Hughson (predeceased) (wife Eila), Blake Hughson (wife Roberta), and Ronnie Hughson. Dear son-in-law of Lyla and Robbie Chatwell (predeceased), and brother-in-law of Judy Wright (husband Renny). Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Clive loved to trap, play euchre, deer hunt and cheer for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He will be forever remembered and loved. Family and friends gathered at Island Funeral Home on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 7 pm to 9 pm. Funeral Services were at Knox United Church, Manitowaning on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 11 am with Rev. Martin Garniss officiating. Burial will be at Hilly Grove Cemetery.
