Look for Hallowe’en candies, colouring options inside the October 29 Expositor

treat-bagMANITOULIN—Get both an early start on your trick or treating and/or keep the fun going after Hallowe’en night this year.

Peruse the pages of this week’s paper and look for the candy bags (like the one to the right) hidden in or among the ads. There are 20 in all and you can fill out the form on Page 10 where you must indicate the page number and the name of the advertiser.

This form is also available online. Click here for the form or it can be found in the footer menu of this website’s homepage. There’s a ‘submit’ button, when you’ve completed the form, to click on and your entry will be sent to The Expositor Office ( you will need to open the form with Adobe Reader and not in a web browser in order for the submit function to work).

If you fill out the form on Page 10, please bring it into The Expositor Office in Little Current by noon on Monday next November 4 or fax it to 705-368-3822. Mailing could be a problem for quick turnaround unless you post it, at the latest, Thursday. The mailing address is P.O. Box 369, Little Current, Ontario P0P 1K0.

Three winners will be drawn from among those who have the most complete forms and they will win a nice prize. Could be candy.

But wait: there’s more.

Andy’s in Wikwemikong is sponsoring a Hallowe’en colouring contest for two age groups (6 and under and 7 to 12). The panel to be coloured is on the same page and below Andy’s Hallowe’en ad on Page 13 of this week’s paper.

Entry deadline for the colouring contest is a longer time frame: Friday, November 7 at noon.

Once again, entries come to The Expositor Office and this leaves lots of time to mail them to P.O. Box 369, Little Current, Ontario P0P 1K0 or to bring them into the office in downtown Little Current.

Have fun colouring. Prizes!
