CLARA ROSE FRANCIS

In loving memory of Clara Rose Francis who passed away at Health Sciences North on Saturday, October 11, 2014 with her loving family at her side. Cherished and loving partner to Roger Peltier (predeceased 2014). Loving mother of Bentley, Nadia and Alex. Special step-mother to Ryan and Kaylene. Dear daughter of Martin (predeceased) and Thereasa Francis. Treasured sister of Lucy (Dennis), Bernadine (Glenn), Mark  (Roselynda), Verna, Allan, Angela (Duane) and Luke (Paulette). Will always be remembered by her canine companion Smokey and cat Ginger. Clara will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Clara will always be remembered for thinking and caring of others, her sense of humour especially her witty personality and she had an energetic attitude. She was a nurse who loved to look after others and took pride in the fantastic job she did. After a courageous battle with cancer she lost her fight. That never stopped her fight, as she was strong willed and fought all the way. Clara loved getting together with family and catching up. Rested at The Rabbit Island Community Centre on October 12, 2014. Friends gathered after 4 pm. Funeral Mass was at Holy Cross Mission on October 14, 2014 at 11 am. Cremation to follow.
