LUCY JEANA WADGE

Lucy Jeana Wadge died peacefully at Manitoulin Centennial Manor on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the age of 95. Born to Adele Allowet and Frank Gentile, at Sydney, Cape Breton on May 3, 1919. Beloved wife of William Roy Wadge. Dear sister of Normie (Lucy) and Rusty (Betty) Gentile. Loved mother of daughters Joann (Brian Katz) and Susann Wadge. Proud grandmother of Aviva, Heather and Megan. Loved by her adopted family, Yogi and Tripet Bratch, Paven (Bela) Bratch and Anita (Chris) Doyle. Will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends, residing in the East Coast, Hamilton and the Manitoulin. Lucy spent her entire life volunteering, meeting Roy during the WWII volunteering at a dance, she was fondly remembered by Hamilton’s cancer hospital staff for her work with children and adults. Delta United Church’s Outreach Programs were also a big part of her life. She worked for many years at Sears in Hamilton at the Centre Mall. Cremation with no services. Donations to a children’s cancer charity or the Manitoulin Centennial Manor Auxiliary (70 Robinson Street West, Little Current) would be greatly appreciated.
