Register this week for Harvest Glory Days

MANITOULIN—The weekend after this one is Thanksgiving Weekend (October 11 to 13) and this year’s version of the Harvest Glory Days inter-community decorating challenge will be peaking just then for the benefit of Manitoulin Island residents and Island visitors.

The Expositor Office, the sponsors of Harvest Glory Days, will once again be judging communities and presenting a large roadside sign to each of the best decorated large communities and the best decorated small communities. Last year, Manitowaning won large community honours and Spring Bay sports the sign for best decorated small community in the Harvest Glory Days theme.

Similar to last year, The Expositor will publish a map in next week’s (October 8) edition of the paper that gives the addresses and coordinates of homes, businesses and public buildings that have decorated so that Island people and visitors can make trips around their own and neighbouring communities to check out the Harvest Glory

Days décor.

If your home or business is decorating or has decorated or if your community as a whole has done a bang-up job of decorating, please let The Expositor Office know by Thursday of this week so that your address can be added to the map for all to see.

You can do this by going to The Expositor website (www.manitoulin.ca) and filling in the appropriate form which is emailed to The Expositor Office, by bringing your information into the office this week, by faxing your details to 705-368-3822 or you can call 705-368-2744 with your information.

Keep on decorating!
