SUDBURY–Members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service responded to a home invasion at approx. 11:00 a. m. on August 20th, at a residence on Charlotte St. in Sudbury. Two male suspects assaulted the tenant, stole personal items from the home and left in a motor vehicle. Initial information received referred to the suspects as being in possession of a firearm. The victim was treated on the scene for minor injuries.
A short time later, police located the vehicle used by the suspects, in the area of Montague St. At approx. 11:30 a. m., one suspect (18 yrs.) was in custody and a second suspect (20 yrs.) was arrested a short time later.
The investigation continues.
