Spring Bay Rural Route

August 11—This week the weather has been much warmer, more like summer. There has been lots going on. This weekend is the Providence Bay Fair. There will be lots to see and do. Lots of vendors and the fruit and vegetable man will be there. Barbara Knight and her daughter from the Massey area visited me on Monday. It’s always nice to see them. We extend sympathy to George and Gayle Popowich on the passing of his brother in Sudbury. Peggy Gray and Courtney and baby were in on Tuesday on their way home. Irene MacIntyre visited me on Friday. The flowers and arrangements at the Campbell Flower Show in Mindemoya on Wednesday were beautiful. They serve a lovely lunch there as well. Charlotte Leonard and I went to the Farmers’ Market in Mindemoya on Saturday. I enjoyed meeting so many of my friends.
