In loving memory of Douglas Allan Ogston, 77 years, who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the Maison Vale Hospice with his loving family at his side. Beloved husband of Erma “Mysa” (nee Osterkruger) Ogston predeceased 1992. Loving father of Rob (Marsha) of Sudbury and Kim Ogston-Ritari (husband Mike) of Lively. Cherished grandfather of Wesley Ogston of Azilda. Dear son of William and Margaret (nee Allan) Ogston both predeceased. Dear brother of William “Bill” Ogston predeceased and Jim Ogston (wife Pat) of Whitefish Falls. Rested at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury. Friends called from 2 pm to 5 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm on Saturday; 2 pm to 5 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm Sunday, and after 9 am on Monday. Funeral Service was in the R. J. Barnard Chapel on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 10 am. Interment in the family plot at the Cold Springs Cemetery, Manitoulin Island. Donations to the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
