CECIL DAVID TAHGAIWENENE (JACKO)

In loving memory of Cecil David Tahgaiwenene (Jacko), 55 years, who passed away peacefully at Manitoulin Health Centre surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, June 8, 2014. Special friend of Elaine Lewis of Wikwemikong. Cherished brother of Arthur (predeceased), Marie Jacko, Ursula Madahbee, Helen Petahtegoose (Bernie), Rita Osawabine (Frank predeceased), Henry Jacko, Gloria Pitawanakwat (Gilbert), Lawrence Jacko,  Rose Anderson (Gary) Vernon (predeceased), Betty Corbiere (Frank), special brother Luke Jacko. Proud father of Cecila (Stanley), Vernon, Kimberly, Patricia, Kenneth, David, Ashely, Stewart, Deseree, Arnald, Melvin, Samatha and Zoey. Stepfather of Joy, Eleanor, Kayla and Colleen Machimity, and stepfather of Danny, Mikey, Crystal and April Lewis. Cherished grandfather of ten, with a special bond with Zander and Zenayah. Cecil was very gifted in crafts making many totem poles, picnic tables and cribbage boards with a no nail construction technique, he also built round log buildings. Visitation was from 1 pm on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 and on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah. Funeral Mass was at 11 am on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Holy Cross Mission, Wikwemikong. Burial at Wikemikong Upper Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Island Funeral Home, Little Current.
