To the Expositor:
Imagine coming to Manitoulin for the first time and as you approach the historic swinging bridge you look up and see a blight on the landscape, an affront to the eyes, those abominations along McLean’s Mountain. Now these ugly things are more obnoxious than those black panels many have in their front yards that look worse than crab grass or dandelions.
Dr. Bill was correct in protesting in a way he knew how.
To the politicians who approved them, to the owners and operators, and to the “Stewards of the Land” you have desecrated the land of Manitou.
