May 26—We had several sunny days last week and enjoyed them.
Ken and Sheila Maeck had some of their family home for a few days.
Dinner guests with David and Connie on Sunday evening were Allen and Rosemarie and myself. We enjoyed the barbecue.
The Twilight Club held their May meeting on Monday in the seniors’ room at Providence Bay. More plans were made for the June dinner.
A graveside funeral for Roy Mandigo was held on Thursday and a lunch was held after in the Spring Bay community centre.
A large number of people attended the luncheon on Wednesday at St. Francis Anglican Church in Mindemoya. Thanks to all who worked and contributed and all who supported it. Many thanks!
A number of people enjoyed the pancake breakfast on Saturday at the United Church in Providence Bay.
Congratulations to the Expositor and staff on your paper of 135 years. Well done! I have written news for over 35 years.
