In loving memory of Sadie Margaret Debassige, a resident of Providence Bay, who passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the age of 60 years. She was born in Mindemoya. Daughter of the late Beatrice (Debassige) Ense and Harold Ense. Sadie was a wonderful, kind and outgoing person. She was very active in her community. Although she was faced with many health struggles, she always was cheerful and a fun person to be with. Sadie loved cribbage, euchre, bingo, quilting and crochet and helped her late brother Ron at Abby’s Restaurant. Sadie loved to watch hockey and cheering local teams on. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren Jordan Cody, Jaylyn, Brandon and Phoenix. Sadie is survived by her beloved partner Eldridge McCulligh; her children Randy, Elsie, Martha and Jay. Loving and loved sister of Martin (Justeen), Gerald (Debbie), Geraldine (Bill), Abby, Norma (Gary) and sister-in-law Janette Corston. Predeceased by son Brian, mother Beatrice (Debassige) Ense, father Harold Ense, brothers Floyd, Ron and Ken Ense. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews Elvis, Kyle, Beatrice, Nancy, Jeremy, Ramona, Robin, Darryl, Whitney, Floyd, Pheonix, Celina, Jeffery, Daphne, Darren Jr., Gerard, Shane, Jared, Aunties Gina, Elizabeth and close friend Don Tonnery. Also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends. A graveside service will be conducted at Providence Bay Cemetery on June 1, 2014 at 11 am.
