Spring Bay Rural Route

MAY 5—Today, Monday, is a very sunny day.

Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers. I hope they all have a good day.

The Twilight Club held their April meeting on April 28 in the seniors’ room at Providence Bay. After a delicious potluck noon meal, we had the roll call and discussed the June meeting. They decided to have a barbecue at the Popwich home in Lonely Bay. They live straight south of my home.

Get well wishes to Harold Arnold. He is home now after having surgery in Sudbury.

The Dewars and others were out to Gore Bay on Tuesday to entertain at the nursing home. I was sorry I was unable to go as it was a nasty rainy day.

May is here and I hope it brings us better weather.

A lot of the snowbirds are back and it’s nice to see them all.

Sheila and Ken Maeck were in Sudbury this weekend.

Thanks to all for the visits, phone calls, cards, and treats since I was in the hospital and coming home. Also thanks for the care I received while there. It was much appreciated. Erma McAllister.
