MONIQUE SIMONE KAY (neé Loranger)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 8, 2011 at the St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Elliot Lake at the age of 68. Predeceased by her husband Patrick Kay, she is survived by her children Laura Kay-Keast (Paul Keast) of Burlington, Dan Kay (Tara) of Levack, Mark Kay (Marni) of Elliot Lake and grandchildren Sarah, Lindsay, Bailey, Darby, Mya and Andrea. Dear sister of Rose Ann Loranger of Montreal, Aline Barnett, Annette Loranger both of Sudbury, Ernie Loranger of Cartier, Gerald Loranger of BC, Norm Loranger of Vancouver, BC, and predeceased by brothers and sister Jacques, Doreen, Paul Emile and Ronald. Friends were received at the Elliot Lake Funeral Chapel and Cremation Centre (36 Ontario Ave.) on Friday, June 10, 2011 from 2-5 pm with the Mass of Christian Burial following at 5 pm from Our Lady Of Fatima Parish with Father Paul Conway officiating. Cremation with interment at a later date in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chelmsford. Memorial contributions to the Elliot Lake Palliative Care Program, St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation or the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
