A call to stop the TransCanada pipeline conversion

These pipelines will leak sooner or later

To the Expositor: TransCanada should not be allowed to convert the existing gas line into oil pipeline in Northern Ontario because there is a lot of fresh water around here and it has to be preserved. As people may know, these oil pipelines usually leak sooner or later or even burst. So the municipalities in the North will have to say no to this because you will be doing good for the North. Once these rivers and lakes are destroyed, there will be no more fresh water. So do not put the almighty dollar first. Think about the environment first. Furthermore, if this oil line leaks it will eventually make it to the Great Lakes and people living along the Great Lakes will be drinking poisonous water. Like I said before, we’re breathing in poisonous air. I was right then because they’re starting to find out the air we breath in is making us sick. It’s costing the health care system a lot of money and then they’re blaming other things. It’s because they’re living in denial. They do not want to admit the truth. They have to start being honest with themselves because when I speak I speak the truth I do not beat around the bush. I get right down to the point and a lot of people do not like hearing the truth, especially people in power. But it catches up to them sooner or later.
