TORONTO—4Elements Living Arts has received funding to hire an executive director and help with administration costs, thanks to funding provided by the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF).
The OTF has announced it is investing in not-for-profit and charitable organizations in Algoma, Cochrane, Manitoulin and Sudbury.
Through investments announced April 2, non-for-profit groups in towns, counties and cities across Ontario will have the support they need to make an impact, notes a Trillium release.
4elements Living Arts is being provided funding of $142,500 over two years to hire an executive director and help fund administration costs for this Manitoulin-North Shore arts organizations that has a strong environmental focus. This will provide leadership to staff and board members and help deliver programs, which will improve the sustainability of the organization.
As well, the Sudbury-Manitoulin Children’s Foundation will receive $99,500 over two years to fund a director of marketing and research position, outreach and education activities, evaluation and network development. This initiative will enhance and expand programming for children who are disadvantaged in the Sudbury and Manitoulin districts.
