King Joseph Chambers, a resident of Little Current, died peacefully at Manitoulin Health Centre on April 3, 2014 at the age of 86. Born to Alice and Edward Chambers at Mechanic Settlement on November 29, 1927. Beloved spouse of Pearl (Cosby) (nee Byan). Loved stepfather of Helen (predeceased), husband James Chisholm of Little Current, Lois and husband Gerry Bond of Little Current, Phyllis (predeceased) husband Bob Norris of Little Current, Brenda and husband Brock Chisholm of Rockville, Russel Cosby and wife Christine of Little Current. Proud step-grandfather of Kim (predeceased), Bonnie, Perry, Barbara, Carol, Valerie, Sharon, Darren, Stephen, Stacey, Joshuah, Quinton, Zabrina, and step-great-grandfather of 22 and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Vincent Chambers and wife Grace, Leah and husband Bob Gramham, Annie Steeves, Hilda MacPhersen, Bertha and husband Bill Sketchly, Henry Chambers (predeceased) and wife Phyllis, Edward Chambers and wife Betty (both predeceased), Alton Chambers (predeceased), Helen Chambers (predeceased). Family and friends gathered at Island Funeral Home on April 4, 2014 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. Funeral Service was at Island Funeral Home on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 1 pm with Rev.
