OPP charge two males with drug offences


WEST PARRY SOUND – On March 8, 2014 at approximately 11:04 a.m., members of the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 141 at Highway 400 in Seguin Township. Initial investigation led to the arrest of the driver for breaching his Conditional Sentence Order. A search of the vehicle revealed 130 grams of Marijuana as well as drug paraphernalia. The passenger was consequently arrested for drug offences.

Kyle ISAAC, 25 years of age from Seguin Township was charged with the following:

• Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Under 3 kg, contrary to the Controlled Drug Substances Act (CDSA);

• Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannibis Marijuana – Over 30 grams, contrary to the CDSA; and with

• Allegation of Breach of Conditional Sentence Order – 3 counts, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

Braeden HARRISON, 18 years of age from McDougall Township, was charged with the following:

• Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Under 3 kg, contrary to the CDSA; and with

• Possession of Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marijuana – Over 30 grams, contrary to the CDSA.

Both accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice Parry Sound.
