In loving memory of Lloyd Campbell, a resident of Manitoulin Lodge, formerly of Evansville, who died on August 3rd, 2011 at the age of 93. He was born in Burpee Township, son of the late Albert and Sarah (Bailey) Campbell. Lloyd was a retired Manitoulin Transport employee. Lloyd enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. He was good at horseshoes and in his younger years had pitched for local ball teams. He enjoyed nothing more than to visit with family and friends. He will be sadly missed but many fond memories will be cherished. Lloyd was predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen (Ferguson) Campbell in 2009. Dearly loved father of Patricia Colwell (husband Jack), and Elwood of Gore Bay. Loved grandfather to Robert Colwell (Stacey), Randy Colwell (Sharon), Jodilynn Colwell (Lee MacDonald), Kelly Campbell, Kathy Howard and Cindy Campbell. Great-grandfather to Heather, John, Jazmin, Krista, Shawn, Elisabeth, Tyler, Catlynn, and Britney. Survived by brother Marvin (Reona) of Collingwood, and predeceased by brother Vern, and sisters Leatha Morrell, Dorothy Merrylees and Alberta Spry. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends called at the Burpee-Mills Complex on Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 1 pm until the time of funeral service at 2 pm with Pastor Erwin Thompson officiating. Interment Burpee-Mills Cemetery.
