AIMIE WINNIFRED MARY (SMYTH) KLEVEN


September 1915 – December 2013

The family announces with sorrow her death on December 7, 2013 at Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 98. Predeceased by husband, Helge, her parents Winnifred and Roy Smyth, her sisters Irene Wagg, Doris Wagg and Adeline Hazzard, her brothers Harry, Walter and Ford. She is survived by her sisters-in-law Donnabelle Smyth and Marion Smyth, many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Born in Silver Water, Manitoulin Island, Aimie still has a cottage there. After attending Toronto Teachers’ College and teaching in several places, she taught 17 years with the Timmins Board of Education. Aimie was a life member of the United Church Women at Covenant United Church. Her gift of playing the piano beautifully was shared with many people. The funeral service was held Thursday December 12, 2013 at Covenant United Church, Rev. Cindy Désilets officiated
