LITTLE CURRENT—A member of the community and an officer with the Manitoulin detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) rescued an abandoned kitten on the Little Current Swing Bridge on December 1.
The OPP Northeast Region reported on December 2, “last night Manitoulin OPP came across a community member attempting to rescue an abandoned kitten on the Little Current Swing Bridge. An officer assisted the community member in the search, and they successfully located the kitten, who was very cold but otherwise safe. The kitten now has a new home with that community member and has been named ‘Snowball.’
