It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce that our mother passed away at Northland Pointe, Port Colborne on Friday, November 29, 2013 in her 90th year. She was born on September 11, 1924 on Manitoulin Island. Beloved wife of the late Arden Pidgen (2007). Loving mother of Clayton (Linda), Ken (Lorie), Ron (Barb), Lloyd (Kathi), Doug (Sue), and Arlene (Alan). Cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Jim (Nancy), Jason, Jeff (Amy), Amanda Houtby, Laura, Sarah, Valerie, Lisa (Paul), Erik (Aly), Ellen, Hailey, and Caitlyn. Also cherished great-grandmother of Cameron and Logan Pidgen. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Maud Lovelace, her sister Dora Priddle, her brothers Keith, Edgar, Norris, Roy, and Elmer Lovelace, and her granddaughter Vivian Erika. By her wishes, cremation has taken place. A family interment service will be held at Silver Lake Cemetery on Manitoulin Island in 2014.
