ETHEL IRENE BURROWS

1927 – 2024
We are saddened to announce the passing of our mother and grandmother on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Southbridge London in her 97th year. She passed away with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Bill (2016). Ethel leaves behind children Linda, Larry and Jennifer, as well as grandchildren Tyler and Leah. She is also survived by brother Winston (Mireille) and sister Helena. She is predeceased by her parents Mary-Ellen (Brown) and Wesley Duxbury of Tehkummah and by sisters Christina, Leona, Emily and Isabel and brother Jim. A special thank you to Southbridge staff on Pine for the care you gave Mom, especially in the last few days. Mom will return to Manitoulin Island where a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and where she will be placed to rest next to her family. In Ethel’s memory, donations may be made to the London Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
