In loving memory of Stephanie Abel, a resident of Toronto, who began her Spirit Journey on Monday, November 18, 2013 at the age of 45 years. She was born in Toronto, daughter of Viola Antoine and the late Alphonse Antoine. Steph had volunteered for many years at soup kitchens in the city, and because of this, met many people who she became friends with. She enjoyed people and her friends and family will have many fond memories of her. Steph also enjoyed reading. Stephanie is survived by her loving mother Viola of Vancouver. Loved mother of Charles of Oshawa and Alicia of Toronto. Dear sister of Mitchell. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends called at the Zhiibaahaasing Community Complex after 3 pm on Friday, November 22, 2013. The funeral mass to celebrate Stephanie’s life was conducted at the Complex on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 2 pm with Fr. Jim Kelly as celebrant. Interment in Sheshegwaning Cemetery.
