Hugh Franklin Little

August 5, 1929 – November 13, 2013

In loving memory of Hugh Little, a resident of Tehkummah, who died at the Mindemoya Hospital on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the age of 84 years. He was born at Success, Saskatchewan, son of the late Frank and Ina (Turnbull) Little. Hugh had farmed all his life, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Quite the personable man, Hugh loved to tell tales and jokes, and seldom ever the same story or joke twice. Even in the last few days, he was still able to tell a joke or two. Hugh loved going for drives around the country with nephew Dave, having fish and chips and watching the Chi-Cheemaun at South Baymouth. Hugh is survived by sister Shirley Ann Montgomery and sisters-in-law Marguerite Little and Lorna Little. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Frieda, Pearl (Herb) Easton, Mary (Ross) Love and brothers Allen and Garnet Little. Friends may call at the Tehkummah United Church from 10 am on Saturday, November 23, 2013. The funeral service to celebrate Hugh’s life will be conducted at 11 am with Rev. Martin Garness officiating. Interment of ashes in Hilly Grove Cemetery.
