Providence Bay News and Notes Nov 13

We all need to be thankful for our women and men who fought in the various wars. We want you to know we are very proud of each and every one of you. God Bless.

The bonspiel went very well at Providence Bay Curling Rink. Fourteen teams participated from all over the Island, Copper Cliff as well.

The tea at Mindemoya was very successful. There was quite a variety of different items. The baked goods looked delicious. Thank you to all who participated.

The Providence Bay Library has Alice Munro’s book available. I just finished reading ‘Dear Life,’ one of her books. Alice has a very unique style of writing, very detailed and very enjoyable.

Happy Birthday to Lyle Dewar, we hope your day was really special.

A big welcome to Roz, Ben and Jack Seabrook who recently moved to Providence Bay. They are enjoying their new home on Cranston Road.
