In loving memory of George William Granger who died peacefully at Health Sciences North, Sudbury on Tuesday morning, November 5, 2013 at the age of 96. Predeceased by beloved wife Doreen (nee Lewis) Granger. Dear father of Ted and Irene Granger, Betty and Eric Russell, Janis and Chuck Totman, Cathy and Perry Bouwmeester. Proud grandpa of Tammy, Derek (Cathleen), Jeff (Michelle), Jay, Joel (Melissa), Wesley, Caitlin (Dustin), Corey, Dustin, and great-grandpa of Logan, Ethan and Ronin. Predeceased by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. Lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. George will be remembered for his love of children. He made many memories curling, hunting, listening to country music and visiting with family and friends. Visitation was from 7 pm to 9 pm on Wednesday, November 6, 2013. Funeral Service was at 11 am on Thursday, November 7, 2013, all at Island Funeral Home. Cremation with burial of ashes in Providence Bay Cemetery at a later date.
