DAMIEN CLIFFORD RODNEY SWIFT

DAMIEN CLIFFORD RODNEY SWIFT January 10, 2010 – March 16, 2023 It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Damien Clifford Rodney Swift on March 16th, 2023 in Little Current, ON. Damien was 13 years young, a student at CMPS and a shining light to many. He was known to be a fun-loving jokester who had a passion for math, video games, chess and sports. Particularly loved hockey, basketball and baseball. Math and numbers were something he excelled at and was very proud of his success. Damien took time quite literally and would squeeze every second he could out of time to do the things he loved. Most important, he was a kind boy with a big heart and always put others first. He is survived by his father David Swift, mother Sarah Bridge and brother Dante. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins and friends. He was undoubtedly greeted at the gates by his biological mother Kayla Bourque, which may be the only comfort anyone can find in this devastating news. Damien was blessed to have many different layers of family and in return they were blessed to have him. One thing is for certain, there is an irreplaceable void in the Swift, Bridge, Bourque, Clarke and Green families forever. Visitation was held at the Island Funeral Home from 10 am to1 pm on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 with a private visitation and funeral at 1 pm for family members. A luncheon followed at the Royal Canadian Legion at 2:30 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the GoodHope Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Clinic, Cheques made out to the clinic may be mailed to: UHN Foundation 5th floor, 5S-801 190 Elizabeth Street, Toronto, ON M5G 2C4 or online at: https://support.uhnfoundation.ca/site/Donation2?df_id=1480&mfc_pref=T&1480.donation=form1&s_src=globalnav.
