Gratitude for an exciting micro mobility system on Manitoulin
An open letter to the municipalities, funders and partners
Dear Municipalities of Manitoulin, funders and partners:
Manitoulin Island Cycling Advocates (MICA) wishes to express our sincere gratitude to our funders: FedNor, Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation and Destination Northern Ontario as well as our partner RYDE that helped to make the Island wide e-bike share system a reality.
The installation crew worked diligently erecting the stations over the course of three days to bring this system to Manitoulin.
The system is currently being calibrated as well as intensively tested to be fully up and running in spring of 2023.
We are excited to see this new state of the art, environmentally friendly, micro mobility system on Manitoulin Island in seven location connecting our communities .
