Kenneth Alexander (Sandy) Tipper

March 16, 1955 – July 30, 2013)

It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the sudden death of Kenneth Alexander (Sandy) Tipper on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in Hamilton. Sandy will be remembered fondly by his family as a generous, giving, intelligent man with a heart for his niece and nephew, Alexa and Dayne Tipper. Lovingly remembered by Cameron Atkinson of Hamilton, his father Dr. Ken Tipper of Mindemoya, and his brother Sean Tipper (Katherine) of Mindemoya. Sadly missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends. Sandy’s love of music and Jesus were equal to his love of his family. He enjoyed various games, challenging conversation, astronomy and sharing his amazing knowledge of computers. Although Sandy’s health had been compromised by severe arthritis he was ever optimistic, upbeat and never backed down from living life. At Sandy’s request, funeral and burial service was held at St. John’s Anglican Church and cemetery, Ravenscliffe, Muskoka District on August 6, 2013. At the family’s request a memorial/visitation was held at the home of Dr. Ken Tipper, Hwy 551, Mindemoya, on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 2 pm to 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that any donations be made to “African Well Project”, Alexa’s special project. She can accept cash or cheques which can be made payable to “African Well Project”, or contact Alexa at 705-377-5125 for online donation details.
